Pharoah Okadigbo, son of former Senate President, the late Chuba Okadigbo has died in a ghastly motor accident.

Pharoah, first Son of the former Senate President died in the fatal accident on Sunday morning in Abuja, the federal capital territory (FCT)

He was said to have had the accident at about 3.00 am on his way from the heart of the FCT to Gwarinpa estate.

Pharoah rammed into a heavy duty vehicle with his white Toyota Camry close to Gwarinpa Estate.

He was said to have died instantly from the crash and his body has been deposited at the mortuary.

The University of Nigeria Nsukka graduate is in his 40s and is survived by his wife and children.

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with the family of the former Senate President.

Reacting to the news of the death, President Buhari said it is very sad to lose such a promising young man with so much potential and passion for youth involvement in the socio-political development of Nigeria.

This was contained in a statement by Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.

Buhari noted that the late Pharoah at an early age keyed into the vision of a better Nigeria not just for the privileged but for all and sundry, which he (the President) shared with the late Chuba, who was his running mate in the 2003 presidential election.

President Buhari adds that the nation will miss a firm believer in the necessity for the people to work in collaboration with governments at all levels to achieve the better society we all wish for.

He prays that God Almighty will comfort family, friends and associates, and repose the soul of the departed.
