EPL: Liverpool eyes Fiorentina Midfielder, Sofyan Amrabat

After failing to get Moses Caicedo and Romeo Lavia from Brigthon and Southampton respectively, Liverpool are looking to hijack Manchester United’s move for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

Dutch publication, AD, claims Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has “spoken directly” with the Moroccan.

Klopp is still in the market for a defensive midfielder after almost getting Matara Endo from Stuggart.

Reports from the camp of Amrabat indicates that the player is ready to pitch his tent with Liverpool, if personal terms is favourable.

It is claimed Klopp has managed to win over the Moroccan international, and the 26-year-old now has his heart set on a move to Anfield.

Amrabat has been linked with a move to United since impressing at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as Morocco upset the odds to reach the semi-finals.
