Recall Buhari withdrew his support for the elongation of the tenure of the ruling party’s national working committee led by Oyegun.

According to reports, Tinubu was said to have been the arrow head behind the stoppage of Oyegun’s tenure elongation – this some have said could be the reason behind his absence at the event.

As at the time of filing this report, neither Saraki nor Oyegun issued statements to commemorate with Tinubu on the occasion of his 66th
birthday.
