In a bid to beat the prying eyes of security operatives, fraudsters popularly known in Nigeria as Yahoo Yahoo boys now ask gullible clients to pay them in bitcoins (crypto currency).
TheNewsGuru.com, TNG, reliably gathered that when such payments are lodged into bank accounts, anti-graft crusaders hardly check such payments.
A self confessed Yahoo boy, name not disclosed in a chat with TNG, said”them no know anything we don go digital, na virtual money Oyibo de pay us now.

“Once maga pay bitcoins we quickly convert the thing to cash before yawa gas we don waka.
TNG further gathered that since bank transactions are monitored by security operatives, the fraudsters cleverly use this new strategy to avoid arrest.
Bitcoins otherwise known as virtual money is another method of running business transactions without necessarily exchanging cash.
