Accident: Hit and run truck severs man’s leg in Lagos

A hit and run truck on Monday evening collided with a motorcycle, popularly known as okada, severing one leg of the rider from his body.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports the accident occurred on the Otedola bridge, even as men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) gave the truck driver a hot chase.

With the assistance of the police officers on ground who speedily mobilised an ambulance, the okada rider whose right leg was severed from the impact was moved to an hospital.

The trailer that caused the accident was chased and caught up with but the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled into the bush.
