Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has on Thursday approved the assigning of portfolios to the Commissioners newly appointed into the State Executive Council.
TheNewsGuru (TNG) reports Governor Okowa assigned James Augoye to the Ministry of Works, Patrick Ukah to the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, and Mrs. Flora Alatan to the Ministry of Women Affairs, Community and Social Development.
While Chika Ossai was assigned to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Basil Ganagana was assigned to the Ministry of Energy, Barr. Peter Mrakpor to the Ministry of Justice, Festus Ochonogor to the Ministry of Housing, and Prof. Patrick Muoboghare to the Ministry of Higher Education.
Also assigned portfolios were the recently appointed Special Advisers, according to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Chiedu Ebie.
TNG reports Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo was assigned Housing Development and Urban Renewal portfolio and Emmanuel Okoro was assigned Rural and Community Development portfolio.
Others are Efe Ofoburuku that was assigned Legislative Matters, Dr. Kingsley Emu assigned Chief Economic Adviser and Prof. Sylvester Monye assigned Senior Policy Adviser.
