Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido and the nephew of Senator Ademola Adeleke the Osun state governor-elect has called out the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for not issuing a certificate of Return to his Uncle three days after winning the gubernatorial election in the state.
Davido took to his Twitter page to call on INEC to do the needful on Tuesday
His Tweet reads “48hrs after our @AAdeleke_01 victory at the Osun Gubernatorial elections, we are yet to receive our certificate.
“@inecnigeria should we send you fuel money? LOL.
“Please no one should tamper with the will of the Osun People!
“Issue the certificate as required by Law!”. he tweeted.
Ademola Adeleke defeated the incumbent governor and All Progressives Congress candidate, Gboyega Oyetola when he polled 403,371 votes against Oyetola’s 375,027 votes in the Osun state election held on the 16th of July, 2022.
