But Ogah observed that the list does not contain any Ebonyi nominee and called for the inclusion of the state in the Ambassadorial nominees.

In a statement issued in Abakaliki, the parliamentarian said there was no reason his state should be excluded from the Ambassadorial list.

According to him, Ebonyi supported and voted for the President massively in the 2019 presidential election with the President defeating his closest rival, Ahj. Atiku Abubakar at the polls in his Ikwo local government area.

He noted that there are lots of civil servants from Ebonyi state at the federal level who he said were eminently qualified to make the list of career ambassadors.

He therefore urged the government to search for them and include them to ensure that the state was not left out in the ambassadorial positions.

Ogah expressed dismay at the exclusion of Ebonyi in the National Judicial Council appointment in which about 33 judges were appointed at the Federal Capital Territory.
