[Video]: No food! No Light! Lagosians breach lockdown, protest against starvation

Lagosians are experiencing immense hardship amid lockdown – one of the country’s latest measure to curtail the spread of Coronavirus in the state.

On the first day, there was a considerable level of compliance, however, it seems hunger and lack of basic amenities forced some Lagosians back to the street in protest against the government’s order that is pushing several persons on the starvation line.

To a large number of Lagosians, social distancing means hunger, especially for average families who depend on daily menial jobs for survival.

A video (lockdown in Lagos) obtained by TheNewsGuru (TNG) in the social media highlights the sufferings of Lagosians amid the battle against COVID-19.
