“Buga”, Afrobeat musician Kizz Daniel, hit single, has got many Nigerians all groovy by the tune of the song. He released the song on May 4th 2022 and featured Tekno. It has become one of the most Shazam songs in the world.

Shazam is an application owned by Apple and developed by Shazam Entertainment. It is used to identify music, movies, advertising, and television shows, based on a short sample played and using the microphone on the device. They made this known through their official Twitter page, congratulating the Nigerian star.

However, there is a trending video on social media which is rumoured to be the source of Kizz Daniel’s “Buga” lyrics.

In the video, an albino was seen playing the guitar and singing melodiously using words like “Buga” which was used in Kizz Daniel’s song and coincidentally is the title of his hit release “Buga”.

Thenewsguru.com did a fact check to confirm the authentication of this rumour, after much research and consultation, Thenewsguru.com found out that the video originated from a remote area in Delta state.

The trending video is over a year old, making it the first music video to trend online before Kizz Daniels “Buga” hit single, and coincidentally words like “Buga”, ” Shoulder up” was first used in the video.

Having noted this, it is safe to say that Kizz Daniel got inspirational lyrics for his “Buga” singles from the trending video.
