Mr Daniel Bwala, a former diehard member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has joined the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Mr Bwala, a popular lawyer who recently resigned from the ruling party, said his decision was based on principles and conviction.

Joining the PDP on Friday, Bwala said the party presents a clear vision for one Nigeria, adding that the PDP is the party with a realistic chance of defeating the APC in the 2023 presidential election.

He also opined that the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar is the only candidate with superior experience to lead Nigeria out of the woods.

TNG recalls that the PDP House of Representatives caucus had on Wednesday wooed the former chieftain of the APC to join its fold.

The House Minority Leader, Mr Ndudi Elumelu led the representatives of PDP lawmakers in the green chamber of the National Assembly to Bwala office in Guzape, Abuja.

Elumelu said the visit was the first time the parliamentarians would be visiting a Nigerian to woo him to a party.

TNG reports Bwala was Special Adviser to the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege on Legal Matters until he resigned from the APC.
