Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has explained that Arsenal will emerge champions of the English Premier League should they lose to Leicester FC today.
The Citizens have the opportunity to close the gap between it and Arsenal to three points if they defeat Leicester on Saturday.
Arsenal on the other hand will play away to relegation battling West Ham United on Sunday.
Guardiola feels any slip-up could seriously affect Man City’s chances.
“It’s the same [on Saturday], if we lose the game, we will not be champions. If we win we could still be there.
“But we cannot forget we are six points behind Arsenal, a team who have dropped few points during the season and have one game a week, with a lot of time for recovery, to analyse and prepare for games,” Guardiola said.
