The Three Lions of England manager, Gareth Southgate has trimmed his squad to 26 after dropping seven more players ahead of the 2024 European Championship scheduled to start next week in Germany.
Report from ESPN states that, James Maddison, Harry Maguire, Jarrad Branthwaite, Curtis Jones, Jarell Quansah, Jack Grealish and James Trafford.
The players will not be part of the final 26-man squad for the tournament.
In order to fine tune the team for the forthcoming competition England will play Iceland in their final friendly game at Wembley on Friday.
The Three Lions will start their tournament against Serbia on June 16.
Southgate’s men will also face Slovenia and Denmark in the group stage.
