Manchester United caretaker boss Ralf Rangnick says they need as many as three new strikers this summer.
Erik ten Hag will leave Ajax for United at the end of the season.
Many believe United are not as hard-working off the ball when he is in the side, which could pose a problem for the new boss given his philosophy to press from the front.
When asked about the 37-year-old’s future, Rangnick said: “This is a question you need to ask Erik ten Hag. He’s showed that he can still be a vital part of this team, but it’s obvious the team needs some more strikers.”
Amongst others, United have been linked with moves for Tottenham frontman Harry Kane and Benfica forward Darwin Nunez, and Rangnick added: “There should be two or three new strikers next season, it’s pretty obvious.”
