Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith World Outreach, aka Winners has again attacked President Muhammadu Buhari over his silence on the killings of Nigerians by the deadly Fulani herdsmen group.

Oyedepo who has remained resolute on criticising the Buhari-led government while preaching on Sunday condemned the President for shunning the burial ceremony of victims of the Fulani killings in Benue.

In the course of his sermon which was monitored by TheNewsGuru.com, he however, stated that via the prayers and fasting in his church, God has exposed and rescued Nigeria from killer-herdsmen.

Quoting from the books of Proverbs 1: 16 in the Holy Bible, ‘For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. For in vain is a net spread in the sight of any bird…” He said the Lord has exposed their [killer herdsmen] hiding place and that he has also destroyed their powers.

He added, ‘As a prophet I know that this call for Fulani colonies is a preparation for a Jihad.’

“I know it like I know my name…now let any Fulani man rise and see what will happen… God said your light will rise from obscurity and your darkness will be as noonday. Jesus has rescued Nigeria by exposing the hiding place of the devil, otherwise, how can you bury seventy-five people and the president is not there, it is not done.

“Evil has passed over Nigeria, A President is elected by the people, I must respond to the wishes of the people. He said political office is not anybody’s right, it is only attained via election. Jesus exposed the net of the fowler, ‘you are setting the net in presence of the birds, how will he fall into it he asks?

“The throne of Nigeria is not a traditional throne it is a democratic throne, it is the government of the people, for the people…”

Recall Oyedepo was among the few Nigerians who were first to strongly condemn the disposition of President Buhari to Fulani killings.

TheNewsGuru.com had earlier published his report where he placed a curse on Fulani herdsmen allegedly killing Nigerians in the country.

In the report, he said “I saw this coming, documented it because God confided in me. I saw it in May 23, 1982.

”Nigeria is in a state of slumber and the politicians won’t say anything. They (politicians) are always looking for the next election whether people are dying or not.”
