South Korea and Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-Min and Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah have both won this season’s English Premier League’s Golden Boot award.
Prior to the last match of the season, Son was trailing Salah on the scorers chart with just a goal but was able to score two whilst Salah scored one to finish joint highest goal scorer with Son.
With this feat, Son becomes the first ever Asian player to win the English premier League Golden boot award.
This is the second time in many season that two or more players would win the EPL’s golden boot award.
