In fulfilling his music career, Big Brother Naija season six winner, Hazel Oyeze Onou, better known as Whitemoney, has signed a record deal with singer Banky W’s record label, Empire Mates Entertainment.
The 28-year-old shared the goodnews in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Whitemoney shared several photos with the singer turned politician, adding that it was time for him to make good music.
“Now that we are in good hands, let the music flow,” he wrote.
Whitemoney, released his debut single titled ‘Selense’, months ago.
Following the criticism over the new single, the reality star vowed to become a Grammy winning artiste before 2023.
“Music is food to my system, for those who don’t believe I don’t blame you, I am trying to make more friends and less enemies, I promise one day I go win the Grammys”, he said.
Apart from being the winner of BBNaija season 6, Whitemoney is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and reality TV star.
Whitemoney is of Igbo descent from Enugu State, Nigeria, but he grew up in Kaduna State. Growing up,

Career
Growing up in Kaduna State, Whitemoney left to Lagos in search for occupations. He ventured into different businesses such as commercial photography, barbering, repairing generators, and fixing telecommunication towers among others.[6] He also invested in importing and selling shoes.
TheNewsGuru.com reports that Whitemoney has produced a few songs including “Rosemary” (2018), “Your Life” (2018), and “My Heart” (2021). On 3 December 2021, he released a single ‘Selense’ which was produced by Masterkraft, the song was released alongside its video.
Big Brother Naija
Whitemoney entered the 6th season of Big Brother Naija as the fifth contestant on 24 July 2021.
During the season finale of the show on 3 October 2021, he was declared the winner scoring 47% of the final votes ahead of Liquorose with 22.99% of the total votes cast and was entitled to the ₦90 million grand prize.
