As the coronavirus spreads globally, some Nollywood stars are doing their part to help.
In no particular order, TheNewsGuru takes a look at role interpreters who have given life lines to fans in the wake of the novel virus.
Toyin Abraham
Back in March 2020, the ‘Alakada’ actress donated relief materials to Nigerians in Ibadan, Ilorin and Abeokuta. The mother of one has also been using her social media platforms to educate her huge fanbase.

Chika Ike
Asides being a diva and a fashionista, Chika also has a heart of gold. The actress and her team partnered with JCC Properties to give Nigerians lifeline amid the lockdown.
In her words: “These past few weeks have been a trying time for everyone . My team and I focused on making donations to some motherless babies and less privileged homes. But we decided to hit the streets this week”.
‘Merry Men’ actor , Williams Uchemba is known to be one of the most benevolent Nigerian entertainers. The former child actor through his Williams Uchemba Foundation visited some areas, giving out foodstuffs and other things like hand sanitisers.
In his words: “By the help of God for the past two weeks we @williams_uchembafoundation have been reaching out to the people in the slums to provide them with Food water and Funds during this pandemic period. We initially projected to feed 1000 people but we are almost done with that number and have more people still not fed, so we have increased the number to 5,000 people. I Believe partnership solves all problems that is why I want to thank and appreciate each and everyone that has in one way or the other been actively involved in making this happen either through service, donation or partnership. I want to thank my brother @falzthebahdguy for also taking up the #givechallenge and Contribution funds to buy more food stuff for the people in the slum, and @chiomagoodhair did not only bring some food stuff but volunteer with sharing it to the people. I believe this is what is in the heart of God and together we make sure hunger doesn’t kill our people”.
