Singer Dammy Krane has said his credit saga experience has taught him to know his real friends.
Recall that the Afro-pop singer was arrested by the Miami-Dade County police for alleged grand theft, credit card fraud, armed conspiracy, forgery, and intent to defraud.
Though the entertainer has been freed of all charges, the experience isn’t one he can forget in a hurry.
Speaking in a recent chat, he said: “I didn’t expect anything from anybody except for my family and they supported me. 2face and Davido supported me during my crisis. The experience taught to know my real friends . Coming out from that place, a lot could have happened but they kept motivating me. More people know me now, that is advantage of the controversy. Whether it is good or bad, it is still publicity”.
Krane further counseled artistes to be mindful of fraudulent show promoters. According to him: “Artistes need to be careful of agents and promoters. Africa is the only place you are appreciated not tolerated. Its not everything you hear in America that is true”.
Speaking further he said black people are labelled as being frauds outside the shores of Nigeria
“Blacks are being labeled as fraudulent outside the country . Thank God I won the case, it’s a lesson for everybody”.
