The gloom in the Onicha-Olona country home of the late legendary reggae singer, Ras Kimono, on Saturday,shows that truly an icon is gone.
Ras Kimono, whose real name is Augustine Oseloke Onwubuya, died June 10, 2018, at the age of 60
Artistes and celebrities like Oritz Wiliki; Opa Williams, Daddy Showky, Buchi, Yellow Man, Righteous Man, Candy Sea and Bright Chimezie attended the final burial rites held at his family compound.
The casket carrying the remains of the crooner was designed and dressed in Rastafarian colours as relatives, colleagues, and fans trooped to have a glimpse of him before being finally committed to mother earth.
His body was interred at exactly 3.20pm.
Many of his colleagues and friends including Orits Wiliki cried uncontrollably during the ceremony.
Ven. Dr. Ogom Josiah, who gave the final prayer for the late musician, said he touched many lives with his talent.
