Following the widely circulated report of Dammy Krane’s acquittal of the credit card scam and identity theft charges against him, the prosecutor – TapJets – has said the singer is not yet free.
TapJets is the private jet booking company which implicated Dammy Krane with the crime, the one that the singer insisted on being innocent.
According to him, the counterfeit credit cards used in booking the jet were used by a show promoter who used the cards to make the booking.
Amidst congratulatory messages flooding Dammy Krane’s social media timeline, the private jet company said the court only extended the period in bringing the full charges by six weeks, adding that he is not yet free.
In a statement signed by the TapJets’ Head of flight safety and security, there is a delay in bringing the full charges against the singer.
“There is a 180-day delay in bringing full charges. Information from our attorney indicated that his accomplice, Chukwuebuka Ilochonwu, is giving police full cooperation.
“This was why they asked for 180 days to bring big charges. So he is not free. Court record says ‘no action’ it does not say ‘not guilty”.
