Victoria Ereuchalu, a Disc Jockey (DJ), has defeated nine other contestants to win the maiden Lagos Prime Show (LPS).
It was conceived by Prime Chinese Restaurant and powered by the creative agency, Oxygen.
DJ Victoria won N300,000 prize and would leverage the Oxygen platform to grow her budding career.
The first and second runners-up – DJ Yinka (Adeyinka Ogunbiade) and DJ Schoolboy (Anaka Emmanuel) – went home with N150,000 and N50,000.
Other contestants were DJ Gabbie, DJ Thizzy, DJ Headmaster, DJ Oscar, and DJ Yinka.
Organizer of the show, Princewill Uche, said LPS will serve as a window that connects creatives with international outfits.
“What we are doing tonight is about giving back,” Uche said.
“We know these people are kids with raw talents. They carry so much insight into music, acting, and modelling.
“We want to make sure that entertainment thrives in these different areas, especially because of the contacts that we have accrued from overseas.
“When we identify the fashion designer who has creativity to a certain point, we will absorb them and encourage them.
“With the DJ category, we intend to get them into a recording studio where we empower them, polish them, and send them out to the world.”
The show doubled as a fashion show for bespoke pieces from designers like Hellerose, Abitoye, Haya, Mcsteve69official, Anasams Collections, and Mabel Opara.
