Veteran Nigerian rapper, Eldee has angrily called out his colleague, Olu Maintain accusing him of going out to perform his songs ‘like he created them’.
To buttress his point, Eldee shared a recent video of Olu Maintain performing their 2008 collaboration ‘Big Boy’ featuring Banky W and Olu Maintain
Though Eldee has deleted the post on Instagram, but it has been generating a myriad of reactions on social media.
Eldee wrote:”This shameless nigga goes out on stages performing my songs like he created it. I still remember how he tried to steal the record right after I put him on it, forcing me to put it out prematurely. Nigga ran off with the unmastered draft and went to print CDs with himself as the lead artist, even his verse was written by me. Lesson to all young artists, don’t ever do pity features”.

Reacting to Eldee’s outburst, Ice Prince noted that as long as Olu Maintain was featured in the song, he has a right to perform it.
TheNewsGuru recalls that the same issue played between AY.com and Terry G in 2009 when AY.com accused Terry G of performing his song ‘Pass me your love’ without his consent.
AY.com had featured Terry G on the song which he also produced .
In a chat with Punch, AY.com said he has since resolved his rift with Terry G.
““Me and Terry G is an old issue and I don’t really like to talk about it anymore. We are cool with each other now. We are colleagues and as regards working with him again, nobody can predict the future.”
