Nigerian pop star, Wizkid has again condemned President Muhammadu Buhari, asking him to resign amidst the widespread unrest in the country.
In a tweet on Wednesday, the ‘Fever’ singer described the president as “a failure, old and incompetent.”
The award winning singer also called for the resignation of Yemi Osinbajo, vice-president, and Mohammed Adamu, inspector-general of police (IGP), for failing to provide the needed leadership in the country.
“@MBuhari you are a failure! Old and incompetent! Step down! We don’t want you, your Vice President and your IG! Resign!” he wrote on Twitter.
His tweet comes amid the nationwide outrage trailing the shooting of unarmed #EndSARS protesters at Lekki toll gate in Lagos by soldiers on Tuesday night.
TheNewsGuru recalls that the ‘Ojuelegba’ singer slammed the president for sending a “get well soon” message to Donald Trump, his US counterpart, who earlier contracted COVID-19, amid the situation of things in the country.
