Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde who will turn 40 on February 7 has shared her sentiments over how society values money above substance.
Omotola revealed that the absence of money doesn’t mean substance is deficient.
The revered actress made the comment against the backdrop of celebrities who live fake lives.
She said: “When you are not rich, It doesn’t mean that you don’t have substance. We need to get back to respecting substance instead of respecting money. We need to start respecting people who are intelligent, who have something to offer. We need to get back to the basics and start to respect those values, instead of respecting money. It’s a cultural problem, it’s a societal problem “she told Goldmyne TV.
