On Sunday, 17th December, thousands of Lagosians converged at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere for the fourth edition of the annual Olamide Live In Concert #OLIC4.
It was a unforgettable experience as fans connected with performances on a deep level.
However the show wasn’t without blemishes.
Nigerian dancehall artiste and music producer, Marvellous Benjy accompanied by his crew were not allowed entry into the entrance meant for artistes and performers to pass through. The overzealous bouncers ignored his plea.
The dancehall artiste who was visibly angry, told one of his team members: “ Do they expect me to beg before I am allowed in?”.
He left the scene of the incident alongside his crew, trying to get in through another entrance. This was an entrance artistes like CDQ, Tenientertainer, Sound Sultan and Durella had passed through earlier
A reporter inquired: “Don’t they know who he is”?
“They obviously don’t” a camera man yelled
Minutes later, the tall Ajegunle born artiste was seen with the likes of Daddy Showkey, Baba Fryo and Sound Sultan performing ‘Ghetto Love’, a song they collaborated on.
