Obviously, the clash between Peter Okoye of PSquare and Seun Kuti has not come to an end as the former extended their feud to IG with him asking Seun to remove the Kuti name just to test his relevance.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Peter, also known as Mr. P, had criticised Seun for his remark against Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP).
Mr. P, one-half of the renowned combo P-Square who has officially endorsed Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, did not hold back when addressing Seun Kuti, an Afrobeat artist, performer, teacher, and social critic.
Recall that Seun recently spoke out against Obi’s bid for the presidency, branding him an “opportunist.”
In his words: “He hasn’t had the time because he started too late. You can’t be telling me that just because you lost PDP primaries 18 months before the election, you suddenly started a movement, and you have a plan for the country.
No, that’s opportunism. And it’s not an opportunist that will deliver Nigeria—not jumping on Labour Party. The Labour Party has a socialist structure. Peter Obi is a capitalist. Where are they going?”
Reacting to the interview on popular blogger Tunde Ednut’s page, the furious Mr. P slammed the son of late Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, telling him to keep quiet.
Stating that he is disappointed in the father of one, Mr. P went on to claim that Seun Kuti had erased his father’s history.
He wrote: Dude just keep quiet! So so disappointed!
“Dude just erased his fathers History! You said only the people of Nigeria can save Nigeria! Is PO and the rest candidates not the Nigerian people?…. SHAME! SHAME!! SHAME!!!
In another tweet, Mr. P wrote; “Dude,I understand your frustration. But realize that the sky is big enough for all birds to fly.
“@burnaboy and other great artistes have climbed on our great Fela’s ladder to blow. Comport your self and pray to your god. My God has blessed my destiny & i’ll 4ever remain thankful. I’ll surely keep you in my prayers. Learn from your nephew @Madekuti cos he is well guided and clean.”

We all have different political views and inclinations based on the truth we know not on your truth. He needs to learn to control his emotions and speak on issues without dragging Seun’s late iconic father into the fold. Seun chooses to be neutral and is within his right to do so.”
