Fidelis Anosike, the husband of veteran Nollywood star, Rita Dominic, has finally broken silence after allegations of his extra-marital escapades emerged.
Recall that the controversial Instagram blog, Gistlovers alleged that the publisher and founder of Folio Media Group (Fidelis) is having an amorous relationship with two undisclosed Nollywood actresses.
The faceless handler claimed that Fidelis was dating three of them (Rita and the undisclosed two) before he finally settled for Rita, but even at that, the actresses are still linking up with Fidelis, who bought the Folio Media Group (publisher of Daily Times newspaper) at a young age of thirty-five.
Tension heightened after the anonymous blogger hinted at the actresses involved by spilling their initials: ‘Aunty U and Aunty I’, in Gistlovers’ words.
However, days after the news made rounds online, Fidelis who has been quiet ever since recently took to his Instagram page to share a cute photo of himself and his wife, Rita Dominic.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that the traditional wedding of the duo would be among the top five.
The star-studded wedding, which was recently held in Imo State, almost stole the shine from Kemi Adetiba and Tim Godfrey’s marriage in the same week.
With the comprehensive media coverage the wedding received, Fidelis has become a household name.
It would be recalled that their traditional wedding shut down Imo State, as the actress looked stunning in her attire.
The ceremony took place in her hometown, Mbaise, with many friends from the industry in attendance including Nollywood royalties, Joke Silva, Uche Jombo, Kate Henshaw and several others.
With just days to walk down the aisle, her friends last weekend, threw a colourful and intimate bridal shower party in Lagos, months after her relationship with Fidelis became public.
The 46-year-old actress rose to fame in the early 90’s alongside colleagues, Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade Ekehinde, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Ramsey Noah, among others, with movies such as The Intruder and Last Wedding.
