Juju musician, Ayefele has denied flouting any state building law which led to the demolition of his Music House in the early hours of Sunday 19th of August, 2018.
Ayefele, who spoke with newsmen in the demolished structure said they were not served letters of demolition.
“We did not receive a letter of demolition from any government agency concerning the demolition of our building.
Another lie that Arulogun told is that they served us letters four times. Tell him to reproduce the letters. We respond to all letters here and we keep our records. “This is the demolition notice they served on us. They gave us three days. What manner of man will go on air and tell lies?.
“We have relocated our studio and Fresh FM is back on the air. It is only the NBC that can stop us from broadcasting. They can only try but they can’t succeed. There is no defence for this vindictive and politically motivated destruction of a thriving business in a city that needs economic and job opportunities for her citizens.”
Recall that the ace musician speaking in an exclusive interview with TNG through his manager, David Ajiboye said the demolished structure is valued at N800m
“That building that was demolished is valued at over N800million. We just purchased 28million broadcast equipment destroyed yesterday during the demolition. This is a company that has provided jobs more than 200 people.
We thank Nigerians for their support and they should see this as political witch-hunting. The governor said in 2016 when he visited the station that some politicians want him to demolish the building because Ayefele is not in their support. All what they are saying is just cooked up stories. We have all legal documents backing the land, we have not contravened any building plan or building law”
