Curvy Nigerian actress, Eniola Badmus caused a stir on social media recently when she made a series of controversial posts which many believe were subtle jabs directed at Toyin Abraham (Aimakhu).
The actresses are presently creating awareness for their movies which have similar themes.
Abraham’s movie is titled, The Ghost and the Tout, which she has been promoting for months now. In the same vein, Badmus’ movie is titled, Ghetto Bred, which only started after Abraham started doing hers.
Badmus had lashed out at Toyin’s promotions saying: “There is no point sugar coating or stealing title…ema lo wa o (don’t come).”
Before that, she had written: “There can only be one ghetto bred produced by Eniola Badmus.”
The plus-sized actress has however denied claims that she has a rift with Toyin.
Speaking in a chat with Punch, she said: “There is zero beef between me and Toyin. We are very good friends. People always read different meanings to things but it’s not always as it seems. All I am doing right now is to promote my movie and I have gotten a lot of love from colleagues.”
