Microsoft on Wednesday released, to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring, Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 18936 (20H1) that comes with a new passwordless sign-in feature for Microsoft Accounts in Windows 10 PCs.
TheNewsGuru (TNG) reports Microsoft in a blog post explained that “enabling passwordless sign-in will switch all Microsoft accounts on your Windows 10 device to modern authentication with Windows Hello Face, Fingerprint, or PIN”.
The company says users who don’t have Windows Hello set up, the operating system will guide them to set it up at the time of their next sign-in.

“This feature is currently being rolled out to a small portion of Insiders and the above option may not show for all users in Settings. If the toggle isn’t showing for you yet, check back in a week so,” Microsoft noted.
To enable the passwordless sign-in feature on supported Windows 10 devices, users have to go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options, and selecting ‘On’ under ‘Make your device passwordless’.
