BBNaija star, Anita Natacha Akide, known simply as Tacha, has given monetary rewards to PVC owners, advising them to vote for their conscience.
With the 2023 elections drawing nigh, the reality star launched a solo campaign to advise Nigerians on voting for whom they believe is their best choice and the importance of having their PVCs.
In a video she shared, the brand Influencer stormed the streets, approaching commuters and residents at random to inquire if they have their PVCs.
For those who were able to show theirs, she gave some monetary rewards.
Tacha noted that she isn’t giving money out just because she has a lot of it, but because she cares.
She stressed the importance of keeping in mind that when one vote, one should realize that the vote isn’t for themselves but for their family as the consequence thereof affects everyone.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Tacha appeared on Big Brother Naija (season 4) as a housemate and also on MTV’s The Challenge: Spies, Lies & Allies. She has won the awards like Net Honour’s Most Popular Person, Female Personality of The Year, Celebrity Entrepreneur of the year and many more. She was the brand ambassador of GetFit, a Fitness brand.
In 2016, Tacha received a Bachelor of Arts in the English Language from the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education.
She acts as a brand ambassador for the eyewear company House of Lunettes, RealTech Company OxfordBuildBay,[11] a representative for the fitness brand GetFit, and the global alcoholic beverage company Ciroc. She also debuted her Tacha Fierce brand of limited-edition Ciroc beverages
Tacha founded Natacha Akide Foundation (NAF) in 2020 with the motive to serve the underprivileged. She started the initiative, Pad For Every Girl (PEG) to educate every girl of female hygiene.
