EPL: Everton escape relegation, Leicester, Leeds go down as 2022/23 season rounds up

Everton football club for the second time in two seasons escaped relegation on the last match day.

The Tofees defeated Bournemouth by 1-0 to at Goodison park to stay afloat in the premier League thereby leaving Leicester City and Leeds city to join Southampton as relegated teams.

Leicester defeated West Ham 2-1 but still got relegated after amassing just 34 points all through the season.

Tottenham Hotspurs  walloped Leeds City 3-1 in the other survival  and continental spots battle.

Arsenal defeated Wolves 5-0 while Liverpool settled for a 4-4 draw against already relegated Southampton side at Saint Mary’s.

Brentford defeated Champions Manchester City by 1-0 while Newcastle settled for a 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
