Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has reacted to his side’s loss to Arsenal at the Emirate on Sunday.
According to him, Arsenal needed “one deflection” to defeat them 1-0 on Sunday.
Substitute Gabriel Martinelli grabbed the only goal of the game in the 86th minute, when his shot hit Nathan Ake, to send the keeper the wrong way.
It is Arsenal’s first win over the Premier League champions in 12 matches.
Guardiola, speaking to MOTD, said: “One deflection. We had 10–15 really good moments in the first half. They started the second half well. It was a tight game. Not many chances, one deflection.
“It was a tight game. We defended really well; the players gave everything. It is football; we lost the game. We will come back stronger.”
