Following the retirement of Justice Marshall Umukoro, former Delta State’s Chief Judge, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has announced the appointment of a new Chief Judge in acting capacity for the State.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Governor Okowa appointed Justice Theresa Diai as the acting Chief Judge of the State.
Recall that Governor Okowa had earlier announced that the Judiciary in the state had been accorded full autonomy in line with the law.
Okowa made this known in Asaba when he received the former Chief Judge of the State.
TNG reports Okowa will on Monday swear in Justice Diai Delta acting Chief Judge.
