A prominent Yoruba monarch Onikoyi of Ikoyi-Ile in Oriire Local government area of Oyo State, Oba Abdulyekeen Ayinla Oladipupo IV, has joined his ancestors.
According to the report, the monarch joined his ancestors on Wednesday evening after a brief illness.
Until his death, Oba Oladipupo was the chairman of the traditional council in Oriire local government area of Oyo state.
The monarch ascended the throne in 2006 when he succeeded Oba Bello Adesite.
Although there is no official announcement yet from the family, a reliable source hinted that Oba Ayinla’s demise would be announced soon.
