The Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), governorship candidate in Kogi State, Sen. Dino Melaye has raised an alarm that all polling units in Ogori/Magongo local government areas of the state have had their result sheets tampered with or prefilled.
According to him, there are widespread demonstrations in the units because voters are refusing to be recognised and are demanding that the area’s voters be given access to the plain result sheets.
Recall that Melaye had in a short video appealed to the people of Kogi state to desist from any act that would undermine their aspirations as Kogi people.
“The result sheets have been filled and tampered with already, and people have refused to accredit, people have refused to vote and they are insisting that the plain result sheets must be returned to agents in accordance with the electoral law,” he said.
