Popular Nigerian actress and entrepreneur, Iyabo Ojo has given a hint on how to juggle filmmaking and business and still try to balance both.
The actress who was one of the Speakers at the Lagos Fashion Show held at Eko hotels and suites advised young persons seeking to combine both businesses with another profession to consider some factors before doing so.
Ojo, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Fespris Limited told the gathering how she became highly successful in combining business with acting.
She noted that her passion for cooking made her open an Amala joint in the Lekki area of Lagos, adding that being a fashionista also aided her in delving into the fashion business.
The beautiful actress advised young prospective entrepreneurs to be steadfast and be straight to the point in decision-making. She added that they should, first of all, get their feasibility studies right before jumping into any kind of business.
Ojo noted that the right finances must be gotten right before thinking of any business start-up.
She further explained that if finances are a challenge, they can get a job to save up but advised they pray that they have an understanding boss.
She explained that it wasn’t easy combining acting with business because both are very demanding, however, Ojo said that she’s got very hardworking and dedicated staffers that can hold fort for her whenever she’s away at location.
Alice Iyabo Ojo is a Nigerian film actress, director, and producer. She has featured in over 150 films and has produced more than 14 of her own
