Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr will trade tackle with Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami in Riyadh Season Cup in an encounter that’s dubbed the last dance.
Both Messi and Ronaldo will renew their age-long rivalry at the Riyadh Season Cup in Saudi Arabia.
Messi led Argentina to last year’s World Cup crown and has long been a rival of Portugal captain Ronaldo.
The upcoming Riyadh Season Cup 2024 promises a footballing extravaganza as iconic players from across the globe assemble for a showdown that transcends borders.
Inter Miami have the luxury of legendary players like former Barcelona comrades Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets, while Al Nassr also parades former Liverpool man, Sadio Mane and former Inter Milan captain Marcelo Brozovic.
Notably, last January witnessed Ronaldo’s maiden appearance in Saudi Arabia donning the Al Nassr colours.
Before moving to MLS, Messi was approached by clubs in the Saudi Pro League, but chose to leave for the United States.
Ronaldo on the other hand left Manchester United unceremoniously after falling out with coach Eric Ten Hag.
