With the abundant talents naturally gifted to Nigeria as a country, one can never ignore the role Nigerians play in the advancement of global breakthroughs.
Among one of the highly talented Nigerians making difference in the global space is, Dr. Osatohanmwen Osemwengie, who hails from Benin, Edo state.
Osemwengie, has been an integral member of the American armed forces, building drones for the United States Army, which are used for surveillance to gather important information, as well as take out terrorist camps.
With four graduate degrees, it will be shocking to know that the Nigerian scholar has bagged his 6th Master’s degree.
On his sixth Masters degree, Osemwengie writes: “6 master degrees, not bad. I was in the State of Ohio on Monday December 12th, 2016 for my Masters of Business Administration (MBA) graduation.”
This is my 6th master degree and will begin work on my 7th master degree in January 2017, and my 4th Ph.D. degree at University of Texas at Dallas in September of 2017. You know the proverb, “All work and no play makes jack a dull boy” well, for me, all work and my play is acquiring graduate degrees. Learning is relaxing and takes my mind of my job projects.”
He shared some photos of himself while receiving the award for his academic programme with a caption.
Osemwingie is the founder of the Open Robotics University; a tuition free engineering degree-granting university that allows people to further exercise their talents.
In recognition of his works he was selected in 2008 to present at the world robotics championships, having expertly coached robotics and served as software engineering mentor to robotics teams.
