New kid on the bloc and Bayer Leverkusen forward, Victor Boniface has for the third time running claimed the Rookie of the Month award in the German Bundesliga.
The Nigerian forward won the award in August and September before clinching it for the month of October.
Boniface scored one goal and provided one assist in three outings for Bayer Leverkusen in October.
The 22-year-old had 15 attempts on goal during the month—a league-high—taking his tally to 54 for the campaign, well ahead of Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane (36) who has the next-most attempts across the German top flight.
Boniface beat Xavi Simons and Brajan Gruda to the award.
He has scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 14 appearances across all competitions for Die Werkself this season.
