Former presidential media aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has penned a ‘thank you’ note to the duo of Charly Boy and Deji Adeyanju, saying their resume or resign protest has yielded results to force President Muhammadu Buhari back to Nigeria.
Omokri, who took to his Twitter handle to pen his thanks to Deji and Charly Boy, popularly known as ‘Area Fada’, said, “The struggle isn’t over” while also launching a #PerformorResign campaign with the tweet.
“.@Areafada1 & @adeyanjudeji, thanks for using #ResumeOrResign to force PMB’s return. The struggle isn’t over. Now he must #PerformorResign!,” Omokri took to Twitter to say.

Omokri compared the duo’s resume or resign protest to a civilian coup d’é·tat, saying it served to evict the ailing president from his London residence back to the country he is serving.
