The Governor of Kaduna State, Sen. Uba Sani, has approved the constitution of a committee to determine the status of all ongoing projects across the state.
This is contained in a statement by Muhammad Lawal Shehu, Gov Uba Sani’s chief Press secretary and was made available on Monday in kaduna.
He said the projects to be looked into included those in the pipeline which were in line with the government’s commitment to speedily complete all priority projects.
The statement said the committee was to determine the status of all ongoing projects across the state.
He said the committee was saddled with the responsibility of getting the details of contractual agreements and obligations.
It will also find out the funding arrangements and commitments of parties and the completion period of the projects.
The committee is expected to come up with specific recommendations on each project.
According to the statement, the committee has four weeks from the inaugural meeting to submit its report.
The statement named Sabiu Sani, Special Adviser, Investment Promotion, as Chairman of the committee, Shuaibu Kabir Bello, Senior Special Assistant, ICT, as Secretary. Other members are Larai Ishaku, Dr. Abdullahi Ahmed, Dr. Mustapha Musa, Fabian Okoye, Ibrahim Muhammad and Atiku Sankey.
