The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is currently inspecting the ongoing rehabilitation work of the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport Abuja.
TheNewsGuru.com reports that the airport was temporarily closed from midnight of Tuesday, March 7, 2017, to enable the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, carry out major rehabilitation on the runway.
The Federal Government through the Minister of State for Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika has therefore given assurances that the airport will be reopened on April 19.
