Violence by any political actor in Osun State during the forthcoming gubernatorial election would meet the full wrath of the traditional gods, Sango.
This was the warning sounded to politicians by the leadership of the Traditional Religion Worshippers Association in Osun State (TRWASO).
The group gave the warning on Wednesday where it advised politicians not to foment trouble during the polls.
The group called on the stakeholders to shun violence in the overall interest of the state.
TRWASO President, Dr Oluseyi Atanda, gave the warning in a statement in commemoration of his first anniversary in office.
The President admonished other religious groups in the state to begin prayers to ward off violence, noting that politicians and their supporters must be law-abiding and refrain from acts that would affect peaceful coexistence.
