Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo on Friday testified about his re-election as the Vice-President of Nigeria at the March edition of Holy Ghost service organised by the Redeemed Christian Church of God .
TheNewsGuru recalls that All Progressives Congress’s Muhammadu Buhari was re-elected as Nigeria’s president for another four-year term after facing down stiff competition from his closest challenger Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party.
An excited Osinbajo gave God all the glory, praise and thanksgiving over his re-election and also recalled how God protected him after his helicopter crash landed in Kabba earlier in February 2019. “I want to thank God first for the salvation of my soul and I have two testimonies. The first Holy Ghost night on February 2nd I was here but I came quite late. After the service, I went to the see Daddy in the office and he said he was going to pay for me. My wife and I were there and we knelt for the prayer. During the prayer, he said ‘Father I want you to give my son very special protection’.
“He prayed three times, stopped and prayed again. I was surprised as to why Daddy was praying about special protection. Later that day, A helicopter I was travelling in, crash landed at Kabba in Kogi State. All twelve of us in the helicopter survived without a crash .I want to bless the name of the lord for that mighty deliverance”
Speaking further, he expressed his delight at being re-elected as the Vice-President of Nigeria.
“My second testimony is that on February 23rd, I was re-elected with the president as the Vice-president of Nigeria for a second term.I want to praise the name of the lord”
Buhari and Osinbajo had, earlier on Wednesday, received certificates of return as President-elect and Vice President-elect.
