President Muhammadu Buhari is hosting a delegation of chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) led by the party’s National Chairman Senator Adamu Abdullahi at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, but visibly missing is the party’s presidential candidate, Senator Bola Tinubu.
Those in the party’s delegation are vice presidential candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima; Senate President Ahmad Lawan; Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege; Deputy Speaker, Idris Wase and some progressive Governors on the party’s platform.
The presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, however is not at the meeting.
Shettima, on Wednesday informed journalists he would be paying a seeking audience with the alongside party’s critical stakeholders.
TheNewsGuru.com, (TNG) recalls that the visit comes about two days after Shettima was publicly presented as Tinubu’s running mate.
Governor Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), who is Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), led other his colleagues, including Babagana Zulum(Borno); Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe); Mai Mala Buni (Yobe) and Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa) among others.
