The Delta State Commissioner for Works, Chief James Augoye has expressed determination by the State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa to connect Kwale and Benekuku communities with a historic bridge.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Augoye expressed Governor Okowa’s determination to connect the communities on Monday during an inspection tour of the Benekuku-Kwale bridge and approach roads, which are presently under construction in Ndokwa West and East Local Government Areas of the State.
The Commissioner was accompanied to the inspection by top government functionaries, including the Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ochor C. Ochor; Commissioner for Finance, Chief Fidelis Tilije; Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Hon. Chika Ossai; Commissioner for Housing, Chief Festus Ochonogho and other Ndokwa nation’s leaders.
The Deputy Speaker and the other government functionaries present during the inspection expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done so far by the contractor while expressing gratitude to the State Governor for his massive investment in that project which will link Ndokwa West and East as well as serve the oil and gas company in that area in line with the stronger Delta mantra of the Governor.
