The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has scheduled its caucus meeting for Tuesday, February 19, over the rescheduled general election.
The PDP media aide Kola Ologbondiyan said the meeting would be held at noon at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
This is coming after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) postponed the presidential and National Assembly elections by a week to February 23.
Among those expected at the meeting are the party’s serving state governors, its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and members of its National Working Committee (NWC), among others.
The agenda of the meeting was not made known by the party.
But a source said the meeting would be focused on issues surrounding the postponement of the presidential and National Assembly elections.
