The list comprised of the same players who executed their last AFCON qualifier  game but omitted just seven players from the squad,

The Confederation of African Football CAF  didn’t approve any of the stadiums put forward by the SLFA for the match, hence the reasons for holding the match in Liberia.

The Eagles won the last encounter between the two sides 2-1 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, on June 9, 2022.

Sierra Leone are currently third in Group A with five points after four rounds of matches. They will, however, hope to stun the group leaders to revive their qualification chances.

Ahead of the must-win game, Keister named 12 overseas-based and 26 home-based players in his provisional list for the clash against the three-time African champions.
